The board (Kanban)
The board organizes all your opportunities into 5 columns:
| Column | What it means | Who moves it |
|---|---|---|
| TO ATTEND | The agent qualified and handed off the lead. The sales rep hasn't contacted them yet. | Agent (automatic) |
| IN CONTACT | The sales rep has already contacted the customer. Currently in the quoting process. | Sales rep |
| QUOTED | A quote with a specific price has been sent. Waiting for customer response. | Sales rep (or automatic with tracking) |
| WON | Sale confirmed. | Sales rep |
| LOST | Sale didn't close. | Sales rep or automatic |
Board views
The opportunities board has two tabs:
- Pipeline: the active flow with the 5 columns (from TO ATTEND to LOST). It's the default view and where the team works day to day. You can filter by sales rep.
- Out of funnel: the opportunities that left the active flow — archived or dormant due to inactivity. Nothing is deleted: from here you can reactivate any of them. We cover it in the Out of funnel section.
Metrics
From Mission Control you can answer questions like:
- How many inquiries did we receive this month?
- How many opportunities are in quoting right now?
- How much could we invoice if pending sales close?
- What is our conversion rate?
- Why are we losing sales? (price, competition, lack of follow-up)
