And it stays around after the handoff: it reminds the rep of pending follow-ups, logs the quotes they send, and gives them the customer's history whenever they need it.

Is it a generic AI or built for tourism?

Trama is trained specifically for the sector. More than a year working with real tourism companies, thousands of quotes processed, and everyday knowledge: how a trip is put together, what to ask before handing off, when not to give a price, what not to promise. It's not a chatbot with buttons or a general-purpose assistant that needs you to explain what a passenger or a high season is.

Does it replace my sales team?

No. Deals close between humans. Trama replaces the tasks that don't add value to your team: answering the same thing two hundred times, filtering queries that go nowhere, asking for the same data in every chat. The sales rep steps in when they add value: advising, negotiating, closing. The human part stays human.

Does it interfere with the WhatsApp I already use?

No. Your current WhatsApp stays the same, with your usual customers, your history, and your tone. Trama uses its own, new, dedicated number for the assistant. You put that number in paid ads, in your Instagram link when you feel comfortable, and it captures new leads. Your current one stays for your loyal customers.

Why do I need a new WhatsApp number?

Two reasons, and the first one matters most. Your current number has years of relationship with clients who know you. If we put the AI there, long-time customers feel they lost the closeness they earned with you. The second reason is technical: the WhatsApp Business API requires a dedicated number so the assistant can run 24/7 without colliding with human replies in the same chat. A prepaid SIM is enough.

What can and can't the assistant do?

The assistant answers questions, gives general advice, collects trip details (destination, dates, travelers, budget), qualifies the lead, and hands it off to the right salesperson with the full context. It doesn't build quotes, doesn't send PDFs or itineraries, doesn't give prices that aren't loaded in your catalog, and doesn't promise anything that could cause you trouble later. Anything involving closing the sale stays with the human team.

What happens when it doesn't know how to answer something?

It never makes things up. If it doesn't have the answer, it says so naturally and hands the lead over for your team to pick up. Every time it happens, it gets logged: we review those situations with you and tune the assistant so it learns your operation over time.

What if I already use a CRM?

Accepted Answer

We don't ask you to migrate anything. Trama runs on the WhatsApp you already work from, and most companies coming from a CRM drop it because nobody keeps it properly updated day to day. Here, the record builds itself from the conversation: your assistant puts together the customer base and the opportunity board on its own, with no one entering data by hand. Direct migration of your current base to Trama isn't automated yet. It's something we're working on to make easier in the near future.

How long does implementation take?

One configuration meeting and it's up and running. Then you start an internal testing phase: you try it with your team, family, friends, give us feedback, and we adjust the tone and context. When you're happy with it, you start handling real queries. Typically, less than a week passes between the first call and operating with real customers.

What is an opportunity?

An opportunity is a qualified sales lead assigned to a sales rep. Your assistant talks to everyone who writes in, understands what they need, and when it detects real buying intent it turns the conversation into an opportunity and routes it to the right rep. Those are the only ones we count: conversations that don't qualify don't use up your plan.

Can I connect my team's WhatsApp?

Yes. Every salesperson can save the Trama number and talk to the assistant directly: they get notifications for new leads Trama hands off to them, follow-up reminders, and can ask it for anything they need, any time. If a salesperson sends a voice note saying "already quoted Pepito", Trama updates the lead on its own. Soon we'll also add full visibility into each chat between your team and customers, so Trama can follow the progress of every sale without anyone having to tell it.
