Plans and usage

What you get charged for, what's free forever, and what changes in the product depending on your plan.

Prices live at trama.so/pricing, which is where they're kept up to date. This page covers the rest: what gets counted, what doesn't, and what changes in the product depending on your plan.

The rule, in one line

The CRM is free. You hire the agent to handle your channels, and you pay for the opportunities it qualifies there.

A channel is any of these five: the Offer Link, your site's widget, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. The agent on your channels starts on Starter — the free plan has none. What you do get for free is the whole platform to run your sales, the Trama Agent from the dashboard, and your Link's contact form, which is never billed.

What counts as an opportunity

It's the unit your plan bills, so it's worth being precise.

An opportunity is an inquiry your agent qualified as a possible sale and assigned to a rep. Any further messages from that same person don't create a new one.

Everything the agent qualifies is billed, no matter where the inquiry came in: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, your site's widget or the Offer Link chat. The channel decides where it answers; the allowance is used up by the qualification.

What doesn't count:

  • The ones that come in through the Offer Link's contact form. No agent in the middle: they still create their opportunity on the board, they just aren't billed. Unlimited and free on every plan, the free one included.
  • Inquiries that don't qualify: suppliers, press, spam, wrong number.
  • Opportunities a rep pushes onto the board by hand.
  • Whatever gets recorded on its own through coexistence, where your rep answers and Trama only watches.
  • Messages between the Trama Agent and your team.

Starting free

You can start without paying and without a card. The free plan isn't a demo with an expiry date, and it isn't a cut-down version: it's the whole CRM, forever.

What you get without paying anything:

  • The full CRM: Mission Control, the board, the Inbox, customers, catalogue, quotes, automations and metrics.
  • Your Offer Link with a contact form: your public page, built from the catalogue, and what people fill in lands on the board. No limit and no charge.
  • The Trama Agent from the dashboard, your team's copilot. You dictate opportunities to it, ask it what you have pending, ask it for a contact. Every plan comes with its own daily usage limit, the free one included. Writing to it from each rep's WhatsApp starts on Starter.
  • Unlimited team members.
  • The REST API and the MCP server, which don't depend on your plan.

On the free plan the CRM fills up three ways: with what comes in through your Link's form, with what your team dictates to the Trama Agent, and by hand from the dashboard. What needs the channel agent is whatever comes out of talking to the customer — qualifying the inquiry, giving it a score and a temperature, writing the tags and the facts — because that takes someone handling the conversation. The rest of the dashboard's AI, like loading your catalogue from a flyer, works the same.

What needs a paid plan:

  1. The Inquiry Agent. This is what starts on Starter: the free plan has none.
  2. Having it answer on any of your channels — the Link chat, your site's widget, WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger. The one exception is the Link's form, which doesn't go through an agent and is free on every plan.

There are two different agents and they're worth keeping apart. The Trama Agent is your team's copilot: it lives on Trama's central number, your rep writes to it to ask what they have pending, and it works from the dashboard on every plan, the free one included, with a daily usage limit that grows with your plan. Writing to it from a rep's WhatsApp starts on Starter. The Inquiry Agent is the one that answers your customers on your channels, and that's the one you hire: it starts on Starter.

A free plan is never charged. There are no overages and no surprises: every inquiry that comes in through your form is saved in full, and you see the contact details of all of them — nothing is hidden and nothing is held back for an upgrade.

What changes by plan

What it isHow it scales
AgentsInstances of the Inquiry Agent, each with its own identity, channels and catalogueNone on the free plan. From Starter, no limit
Qualified opportunitiesThe ones the agent qualifies and assigns to a rep, wherever they came inEach paid plan includes a monthly allowance, shared across every channel. Past the allowance nothing is cut off: extras are billed. The free plan has no agent, so it uses no allowance
ChannelsWhere your agent answers: WhatsApp, Instagram or MessengerFrom Starter. Each paid plan includes a number of your choosing, and you can add more
Web widgetThe Trama chat embedded on your site — see Web widgetFrom Starter. It doesn't use up an included channel, but what it qualifies does use your allowance
Offer LinkYour public page, built from the catalogue — see Offer LinkOn every plan. With a contact form it's free and unlimited; having an agent answer on it starts on Starter, and what it qualifies uses your allowance
Trama AgentYour team's copilot, for dictating opportunities and asking what's pendingFrom the dashboard, on every plan, with a per-person daily usage limit that grows with the plan. From a rep's WhatsApp, from Starter
Team numbersThe WhatsApp numbers your reps link to the Trama Agent to ask what they have pendingFrom Starter, which is where the Trama Agent starts answering on WhatsApp. Each paid plan includes a number of them. Using the Trama Agent from the dashboard uses none
Coexistence numbersYour reps' WhatsApp numbers that Trama watches so the board keeps itself up to date — see CoexistenceFrom Starter. They don't consume a channel: they're counted separately and billed as add-ons. A phone in coexistence stops taking up a team-number slot
REST API and MCPQuerying and operating your data from outsideAvailable on every plan, at no cost
SupportScales with the plan — see Support

Team members are unlimited on every plan. Anyone in your business can use the dashboard and the Trama Agent from the web, at no cost. What gets counted is linked WhatsApp numbers, not people.

Add-ons

You can add channels, team numbers, or ask Trama to provide a phone number if you'd rather not get one yourself — available in the main LATAM countries (except Colombia), Spain, Portugal and Europe.

The amounts are at trama.so/pricing.

Plan changes and billing

No minimum commitment: change plan or cancel whenever you want. Upgrading charges the difference immediately; downgrading takes effect at your next renewal.

Annual billing is charged upfront for the whole period and works out to ten months: you save two.

Prices exclude taxes and Meta's WhatsApp charges, which are separate and passed through to you with no markup. See WhatsApp costs.
